Embark on a captivating journey through Riyadh, the dynamic heart of Saudi Arabia. Visit the historic Al Turaif district of Diriyah, a UNESCO World Heritage site that offers a glimpse into the origins of the Saudi state. Explore the King Abdulaziz Historical Center, marvel at the imposing Al Masmak Fortress, wander through the bustling Souq Al-Zal, a traditional market brimming with cultural treasures, and witness breathtaking panoramic views from the Kingdom Centre’s Skybridge. 

Day 1: Arrival 
Upon your arrival in Riyadh, our representative will greet you at the airport and take you to your hotel, where you can unwind and recharge.  

Day 2: Riyadh Sightseeing 
Visit Diriyah, located northwest of the city. The Al Turaif district, a meticulously restored mud-brick area, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and provides a fascinating glimpse into the nation's heritage. Next, you'll delve into Saudi Arabia's rich history at the King Abdulaziz Historical Center, showcasing artifacts from various eras. 

After a leisurely lunch, the tour continues to Al Masmak Fortress, a historical stronghold built around 1865. The fortress houses exhibits, including maps and photographs dating from 1912 to 1937, within galleries converted from traditional diwans. A short walk away, wander through Souq Al-Zal, one of Riyadh's oldest traditional markets, where you can find traditional attire, antiques, oud (a traditional Arabic perfume), and jewellery. 

In the evening, visit the iconic Kingdom CentreThe tower's most distinctive feature is its inverted arch, topped by a glass skybridge offering breathtaking views from the observation deck. 

Optional Local Home Visit 

For those interested in an authentic cultural experience, an optional visit to a local Saudi home is available. Here, you'll enjoy a traditional meal and experience the renowned Saudi hospitality. 

Day 3: Departure 
After checking out from your hotel, you'll be transferred to the airport for your departure.

Important Notes:

  • Saudi Arabia is a dry country alcohol is absolutely forbidden
  • Dress is modest and women do NOT need to cover their heads and wear Abayas except in The Holy City of Madinah
  • Be advised that you will be fingerprinted and undergo a retinal scan upon arrival in the country
  • Be aware that most places in the Kingdom shut down between noon and 3 pm every day as well as several other times during prayer times and often the group will be returned to the hotel for some free time during these periods or replaced with other visits
  • Sometimes sites can be closed for no foreseen reasons or authorities can also deny visit of certain places without prior notice, are NOT responsible for any such events/acts
  • Most museums in Saudi are closed on Fridays
  • The National Museum in Riyadh is closed on Sundays
  • All Saudi Arabia open on Fridays after 4 pm (restaurants and cafes open after 2 pm)
