Spend the blessed day of Arafah in Karbala with this 11-Day Ziyarat package that takes you on a spiritual journey of Najaf, Kadhmain, Samara and Karbala. You’ll be visiting all the important shrines and Ziyarat places including, shrine of Imam Ali, Imam Musa Kazim, Imam Muhammad Taqi, the shrine of Imam Ali Naqi and Imam Hassan Askari. The package includes comfortable accommodation, transfers, food, visa assistance, and flights.
Day 1 (20 June 23): Upon arrival in Najaf, you’ll be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel. Relax and spend your time at leisure. Hotel Qasr-e-Dour is 30 minutes' drive from Najaf Airport.
Day 2 (21 June 23): After breakfast, proceed for Ziyarat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali, an ornate structure with a large central dome. Pay your respects and spend the time exploring the shrine. Later, return to your hotel in Najaf for overnight stay.
Day 3 (22 June 23): After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kufa to visit the grand Kufa mosque and other important Islamic places in and around Kufa. Masjid-e-Kufa is one of the earliest and holiest surviving mosques in the world. It was home to Imam Ali and contains graves of three of his companions, Muslim ibn Aqeel, Hani ibn Urwa; and Al-Mukhtar. Complete your prayers at the mosque and pay respects at the graves. Later, return to your hotel for overnight stay. Kufa is 10 km from Najaf
Day 4 (23 June 23): The day is free to explore different attractions in Najaf. You can visit the local bazaar and religious places nearby on your leisure. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 (24 June 23): After breakfast depart for Karbala via Kadhmain and Samara. Kadhmain is one of the oldest cities in Iraq located in the north of Baghdad. Visit the holy shrines of two imams of the Prophet’s (pbuh) household - Imam Musa Al Kadhim and Imam Mohammed Jawad. Later, drive to Karbala and check in your hotel for the overnight stay. The journey from Najaf to Kadhmain-Samara- Kerbala will take approximately 8 hours.
Day 6 (25 June 23): After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Holy Shrines of Imam Hussain and his brother Imam Abbas – pay your respects, perform Ziyarat and later return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7 (26 June 23): Today after breakfast, you’ll be visiting the battle ground of Karbala. You will have time to pray and pay your respects. Later return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 8 (27 June 23): After breakfast, proceed for Ziyarat in and around Karbala visiting all the important Islamic places. In the evening, return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 9 (28 June 23): This day is free to explore Karbala and its attractions, the grand bazaars and other important spots. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10 (29 June 23): After breakfast, proceed to visit the shrines od Imam Husain and Imam Abbas. Pay your respects as you will enjoy time to pray and spend time in these two holy shrines. Return to hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 11 (30 June 23): After breakfast, depart for Najaf airport for your return flight back home. The journey from Karbala to Najaf airport is approximately 1 hour.
